Middleton-Rainbow Lake- Maple Rapids outage update
1. There has been an intermittent problem with a part of the backhaul in Middleton that has caused some issues with connectivity in the Middleton/Maple Rapids networks. A power supply was replaced on Saturday which we hope was the problem. Other items have already been ruled out for this failure. We also spent Friday working on removing this part of the network equipment by switching it to a fiber cable. Should be switched out by end of next week.

2. The backup power unit (UPS) locked up at our Rainbow Lake site around 11 pm on Friday. Unit was reset and system access was restored.

It should be noted that some sites we do not have 24 hour access and unless the site owner contacted us to fix the problem , we have to wait till daybreak to access the site.

power outages for this week.....
We had two power outages today

First a dump truck pulled the wires down at the Gilson road and Colony road tower location.

Second, a Fedex truck caught some Verizon wires and pulled off the power and wiring on our downtown location.

Both have been repaired.
