Our Lansing provider is handling a problem that is causing our traffic to be very sluggish this morning.
We will continue to monitor, but have not had any updates.

The routing in Lansing failed approx. 7:45. This affected our traffic but was not a failure in our network.
Network connectivity was restored approx. 8:45.

As an effort to help make it easier for us to communicate to our clients what is happening at Mutual Data Services, we have instituted this blog.
In the past we have tried using email lists but generally 30-40% of those messages did not get delivered or went to accounts that are not in use. Keeping the "list" clean was a major chore and as we have grown it has become an unworkable solution.
Blogs, on the other hand, allow us to easily document information and if you subscribe to the blog, allow you to receive notification that a new post has been created. Subscribing is easily accomplished by using a RSS reader client( examples are http://www.rss-specifications.com/rss-readers.htm ) or if you use Thunderbird for email it will create RSS feeds as email.
We will also setup a notice on the main webpage for our site to indicate a recent post has been made.
