is fixed wireless?
A: It is a point to point RF connection. A radio
with an antenna is installed on the outside of the location
that is aimed and communicates with our local tower.
WI-FI is considered mobile wireless because your radio is in
the laptop and moves with the laptop.
Q: Why do I need a router?
A: A router (also
know as a firewall) protects your computers from the outside
world. Routers also hold all your settings so you can
change or add computers without having to program the unique
settings for your broadband connection.
